yeah, i mean cloud beats sephiroth multiple times and we literally see a sephiroth that isn't even real one shot the Midgardsormr when cloud and the rest of the party just struggled and technically lost to it.

@@PxIarix Cloud himself doesn't seem to be aware how potent his rela power is unless he's pressured. He was one of two characters that was shown capable of soloing the final boss of Rebirth.

They are just very very highly skilled individuals who have undergone intense training, similar to Tifa. Does prompt the question, since Tifa and Rude are both Monks, was Rude perhaps also one of Zangan’s 128 students?

It's the anime trope of people gaining superhuman ability by training a lot and being super skilled and talented and motivated. Same as Tifa, for example. But story wise, they are not quite as powerful as Cloud or 1st Class SOLDIERs.

Their first fight wasn't 1on1 actually. Reno had help from the Shinra soldiers, despite this Cloud still won & had energy to spared. Reno on the other hand could barely stand up afterwards.

@@danielpayne1597 I mean, soldiers or not, they are still people & living breathing human beings so I believe they should be respected & recognized enough to the point of being noticed. Please don't forget that Cloud himself used to be a Shinra solder as well & back then his fighting prowess was a joke, he couldn't; even restrain the Chubby Hollander. But no matter how strong/weak he was, he still tried & did his best in his duties. Ah yes, there's also the 7th Infantry that helped Cloud in Rebirth, I believe those guys deserve recognition as well & were definitely noticed by the players.

Btw: Tifa has never been with B., that weird thought has just been a creation by some people 27 years ago and has long since been put to rest and what the original comment probably meant is that Rude has a black English VA, but only the English one. B. is more like the way older, bigger brother. In fact, Tifa has never been with anybody, same goes for Cloud. (I know some Westerners nowadays can’t understand how that can even be possible…) It wouldn’t fit her shy personality anyway.

@@Tic950 It's not toxic & it's the truth. I don't speak toxic unlike certain people. Rude's skin is displayed as white as day, which is even easier to tell on the anime adaption of FFVII such as Before Crisis & Last Order. Anyone can see this.
