Rent a car is a concept from developed countries where enforcement of traffic rules is at its highest. Police and camera are installed every where with gps location of the vehicles. I US or Europe rent a car is not mainly for tourist it's for regular people who travel from one state to another or people who don't want to fly or use a train. Rent a car is mainly used for when a person from different state comes to another state and he wants to use a car to rome that state. So some of our mlas go to these develop countries to study tourism or promote our tourism see their concept of rent a car and try to use it for tourists in Goa without learning impact of these cheap local tourists who come for cheap alcohol and casino

Ban Rent a Cab

Discussing these serious issues at the round table will not help in curbing the rising accidental deaths. People have to come out on the streets and presurise the govt to adopt saftey measures. Secondly sports bikes and cars should be banned in Goa.

All developed nations have multiple airports in close proximity.. This helps in case's of emergency.... As regards Dabolim airport,it belongs to the Ministry of Defence.... It was their decision to allow civilian aircrafts operations but with a condition that whenever Goa state gets it's own airport they would cease civilian aircraft operations from Dabolim.... So Goa government should honour it's part of the agreement now that Mopa airport is operational...

In traffic rules, when Hazards are supposed to be removed, here Hazards are Created. Look at highways n flyovers, people from outside sell their wares.everywhere this going on.haphazard parking n old n discarded vehicles are not removed n parking facilities not provided.

Govt n MLAS n ministers n especially Mauvin were always promising that Dabolim will not be Closed.when all airlines will divert to Mopa ,then how Dabolim will be viable?now he says pressure from Centre so he cannot do anything. This shows his inefficiency n so he should Resign as he has No standing nor any respect for him.
