We were a tenant at a house and my father had extremely difficult financial problems in his business. We couldn't pay the rent for almost two years. Our house owner understood the situation and didn't collect rent during the difficult period and even helped us by offering additional money. After two years, we repaid our owner. Such House owners are a rare breed to find nowadays and I feel so humbled and gifted to have stayed in his house.

கடந்த 12 வருடம்மாக நான் வாடகை வாங்கியதுல்லை ஏன் என்றால் நான் ஒருமுரை வாடகை வாங்கபோகும்போது ஒரு அம்மா அழுதுகொண்டே வந்து என்னிடம் சொன்னது தம்பி இந்தாப்பா வடகை இந்த பணத்தை வாங்கிக்கொள் என் மகள் பிரசவத்துக்காக வந்துருக்கா அவளுக்கு ஒரு நல்லது சமைத்து கொடுக்கவில்லை 10 தேதி நீ வருவாய்ன்னு வைத்துரிந்தேன் இந்தாப்பா என்றது நான் வங்கி பணத்தை என்னும்போது மணம் வலித்தது அதில் இருந்து வாடகை என்னைத்தேடி வரும் நான் தேடி போவதில்லை

i think the best idea......standard rental agreements needed....everything must be in writing......laws needed to change.....fair and balancing ways....for all...

After my marriage me and my husband stayed in rented house in Chennai because me and my husband working in chennai. My in-laws already told that house owner that we will stay here for just few months because my in-laws already in a plan to buy a flat for me and my husband. But God grace within 4 months we owned a flat. We informed owner that we bought our flat nd we will vacate. That selfish owner lady started cursing us. I really don't know why. Buying a new flat is good thing only right.

A nice presentation indeed-kudos to both anchor & director.It is very difficult to find an ideal house owner & people on rent.Our govt must encourage commercial renting by bigtime builders with proper safeguards or regulators.It is not possible for all to own a house & hence govt must intervene & solve this basic problem.

In chennai, most of the places house owner collecting 10 rupee per unit for eb charges.

I think regulations should be followed as mentioned by the police. most problems will be solved. both tenants and owners are doing something wrong. owners may not become tenants (majority) but tenants will become owners one day. that day they will realize the difficulties of being an owner. legal agreement should be done.

For an unknown person, mediator risks his face value to get house for that unknown person. It is a service charge they charge for their time spent and risk they take. Nothing is free in this world. Mediators should be authentic and reliable. Hope people reading this comment will like it if they are neutral.

We rented a house in apartment, flat is owned by my husband collegue but the the maintenance is done by a upper flat owner that fellow behaves like a owner to us he restricted water service to us, he. Tortured us a lot
