Einstein N theres only a few people who knows what rookantha has done ,congrats bruh and follow western music specially some jazz and gospel music so you will be able to unlock those amazing chords rookantha has used in his songs , good luck

Einstein N there are around 42 types of chords. Still most of the srilankan musicians using major , minor chords rarely 7th and sustain chords. rookantha used unusual chords to his songs and that's why you can't capture his chords and patterns.

Miyuru Rangana he never used any unusual chords ,it's the amount of music we know , he always used major 9ths,11ths,13ths and diminished sevenths and flatted 9ths in most of his songs , the problem is that none of the main stream sri lankan musicians has not properly studied music , and yes indeed because we dindt get to hear them from any other artist except rookantha ,these days the band daddy does a good job on making rich music with beautiful chord progressions , and that is pure western good music ,we should appreciate their music as well ,they will be the ones to pass the music which rookantha originated here to the next generation , Rookantha was the saviour of sri lankan music ❤
