That speech from his father at about 50 minutes in... that is truly what life is all about! Family and time, not money and toys. What we do for ourselves dies with us, what we do for others lives on forever.

Brazilian here, and I think I can explain that *craziness* in an simple way: it's all about intensity. The more intense the moment the more alive you feel, it's all about how much *now* you can take. Nothing like actual battle for your life to take you there.

YEAH WELL THEIR ACCENT IS PORTUGESE. SOME PEOPLE STILL FORGET THAT IN BRAZIL THEY SPEAK PORTUGESE, NOT SPANISH. THAT'S WHY IF YOU DON'T KNOW THAT OR FORGOT, YOU CAN'T QUITE PUT YOUR FINGER ON WHY THEY DON'T SOUND LIKE THEY REALLY HAVE A SPANISH ACCENT, BUT SOMETHING REALLY CLOSE. I CAN'T DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENCE, BUT I CAN TELL THE TWO ACCENTS APART. I GUESS A LINGUIST COULD BREAK IT DOWN FOR US.

Got to do a seminar with Renzo at his gym in Kaysville, Utah a couple weeks ago. Dudes the genuine article. During the seminar he shared a poem his grandfather used to tell him: OUR CHILDREN” And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said, Speak to us of Children. And he said: Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable. Kahlil Gibran 1883 - 1931
