The name REO brothers comes from their names. all five of them have first names that starts with R. Reno, Ronjoseph, Raymart, Ralph and Roymark. E is for their middle name. Evasco. and O for their family name, Otic. thats why its REO brothers. Thought i'd comment this here for those who were wondering why REO brothers.

What amazes me and the reason why I keep listening to these talendted brothers, is their ability to play their instruments to a T, not to mention the musicalities of their own vocals!

This is definitely not an easy song to cover. However they absolutely nailed it. Great job!!!! They are so good you are even unsure if this is real.....but they truly are the real thing. This band, although unknown in the USA, are professionals at the highest level.

I already commented on this cover when the original one first came out. But, I had to do another one because this Stereo version deserves a separate comment of its own. Alan Parsons is a pioneer and an authority in immersive music experience. His album 'On Air' was one of the very firsts to be released on DTS 5.1 Surround CD way back in 1996. Given the advancements in uncompressed digital surround sound technology, he went back and re-worked his ‘Eye of the Sky’ album and re-released it last year as a 35th Anniversary Blu-Ray. And that work paid off and won him a Grammy. So, I was really excited when I saw this Stereo version and took it on its paces. I initially listened to this using a pair of 'over-ear' headphones. Then, a pair of full-range stereo reference speakers. Then, finally on my home theater with a 10.2 surround sound set-up. And I must tell you, that while the first version was already excellent this Stereo version's expanded aural soundstage reflects Alan Parsons' vision when it comes to how he wants his music to be experienced. Again, how the REO Brothers did this given the limitations of their gear is beyond me. It's just unbelievable. 👍🏼👍🏼

We were in his car in front of my house making out with the radio on. Eye in the Sky came on. We quit kissing, stared at each other, and started to sing in harmony with the song. I must say that we were pretty good together, vocally-speaking, and that moment is one of the sweetest from my teen years. Thanks REO Brothers for giving this middle-aged woman under quarantine a lovely reminder of my youth and a gorgeous cover of a great 80s song.

Big huge fan of Alan Parsons Project since before any of you guys were born. You nailed this song and what is amazing is you do it with a very simple basic arrangement of instruments. 2 elec. guitars and one bass, a basic electronic keyboard and a very basic drum kit and in that little studio you have there.
