2 жыл бұрынHi friends, so we got a pleasant surprise this past Saturday in Dallas. Lisa Loeb is a Dallas native and was in town visiting family. She called the afternoon of our show to say ‘hi,’ one thing led to another, and she ended up on stage with us. Lisa knew ‘Keep On Loving You,’ and told me she played it in her band Nine Stories, with Dweezil Zappa on guitar (check out her live video, it is very cool, and Dweezil nails the Richrath solo). Lisa Loeb and I worked up a quick duet in the dressing room and performed it that night at the Dos Equis Pavilion. I love winging it, last-minute collaboration is fun and exciting. It keeps us young. My wife Lisa was with me, so both Lisas came out and sang with us on the keep on rolling refrain…big fun!

In 1982, a boy handed me a little folded up note ( with a heart with wings on it ) and asked if I liked REO Speedwagon, and that was it for me. My favorite band of all time, and I’m gonna keep on lovin’ you, REO! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Congrats Ryan. 👏 you have an extraordinary taste in music, compared to your generation. The music don't have age. I'm a 41 years old, and I lov this song too. This is a song for a love of a lifetime with a dream girl. Only dedicates this to a girl deserves a song like this. A very special and unforgettable girl.

I’m a 2004 boy. Grew up on those nostalgic early 2000s songs. But as I got into my teenage years, I not only started really listening to music, but I started falling in love with it. I started with KZfaq just making my own playlist. But then my sister told me to get Amazon music. More than half of my playlist was songs from the 80s and the 70s. My old scout leader who grew up in the 80s always told me that I live in the wrong generation. I then moved to Spotify where I had more options for music. And one day I heard the song Time For Me To Fly. And I said to myself, “this is the artist for Can’t Fight This Feeling” at that moment, I decided I should listen to more REO Speedwagon songs. And the more I listened to them, the more in love I became just in that band. As a theater kid in acting, I belt those songs in my car dreaming I was back in the 80s because I never got to live them. And I’m sure I’m not the first to say, singing on stage with Kevin Cronin would be a dream come true. I love you guys. You make music that is the sound of my soul. And if there would be a movie made about me, I would only use your songs. Thanks for the music guys. ❤️

Good to hear the younger generations discovering 80's music. And although some 80's artists have passed or retired, there's still some touring out there like REO, Heart, Cheap Trick, Bruce Springsteen, Pat Benetar.

1980 , remember it like it was yesterday ! I was 13 , and 55 now but it still feels like the first time I heard it ! Even though I think reo should play 'LUCKY FOR YOU ! ' or ' DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR WOMAN IS TONIGHT !' But that's just me. May the Father bless you 🙏. And be with you 🙏, all here and now 🙏. I will not Consent.

The concert I had a grand old time .Which means I had enjoyed myself here, it was good to see all of the old band members back together ,touring again .I did get a chance to see them REO Speedwagon,Styx together on tour in person here this past Sunday at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion .It felt so nice to be there in person ,to actually see them play live .Those two bands are one of my favorite bands here from the eighties.
