REO Speedwagon Unplugged Live At The San Jose Civic - 1/15/22

2 жыл бұрынAs some of you might have noticed, the REO lineup looked a little bit different at a few shows last month. With Dave out sick, the band had to do some improvising, because as Kevin says, "REO Speedwagon does not cancel shows."
The result is REO Unplugged with stories about the songs! Stay tuned for more performance video from San Jose, starting tomorrow with a full version of “Roll With The Changes”!

I remember meeting the lead singer. He was with the people that was selling his merchandise and I got a hug and kiss from him. It’s funny because I was the only person who recognized him. You asked me to keep it quiet and until now I’ve never told anyone. Thank you for all the memories you have given me! Seen you plenty and will go again if I get the opportunity.

I HAVE SEEN REO IN CONCERT 5 TIMES OVER THE YEARS. AND I'LL GO SEE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN BECAUSE REO IS MY FAVORITE BAND I HOPE I CAN MEET THE BAND MEMBERS SOME DAY . REO IS THE BEST BAND EVER KEEP TOURING REO I HOPE TO SEE REO IN CONCERT AGAIN SOON

I Met Gary in 1990 and got to hang out for a few hours with him. My Girlfriends family owned a club his band was playing at. The Richrath band. Got some cool autographed stuff + Pictures. Complete Opposite of what I expected. Outstanding great dude very soft spoken. It broke my heart seeing what became of him. health wise

That's why I won't go when they tour with Styx or Chicago or whomever--I want the WHOLE concert! I woulda puked to have paid big $$$ to hear ^^^^

I've seen REO over 75 times in concert since 1982 in all sorts of venues; from giant outdoor stadiums to small indoor casino ballrooms, carnivals, and rodeo appearances. No matter where they are or how many people are there, from a couple thousand to 20,000 plus, they always put on a great show. For this show, with Dave being out sick, they still managed to give the audience what they came for. I would've expected no less from the greatest classic rock band I know. I would've loved to have been at one of these shows. Keep rocking guys. 🎵🎼🎶🎹🎸I'll see you in Austin in July. Can't wait. 👍👍❤❤

I was at that show - it was great! Very intimate and lots of interesting stories about the songs. Kevin’s son’s band opened the show and then played with them on some songs towards the end.

I was at both concerts, this one and the one just recently in 2023, very different of course but an extremely good set also in 2022. I got great value for my money 🤷🏼♂️. Plus, Joe Vannelli on keys … 👌🏼

Training??? He’s been doing it since the early 70s from way before he joined REO. You can’t train him, he’s probably just worn out.

@@leecalvinmusic Yes, I know hes been doing that. But that's why he needs to train back that great voice he had, he looks really worn out, that's true. Look at their next video, same thing.
