G'day, This camera should work well to watch traffic from either direction for me. As I live next to an intersection I will still need additional cameras to cover the other street. I am currently using 2 cameras with an overlapping view to try and get the coverage the DUO should provide. I'm also looking at getting a PTZ for better observation capacity.

Does human detection work with ONVIF for 3rd party NVRs?

Hi Guys, can I have the camera powered up through POE switch and still have it connected to NVR for recording?

Yes. The Reolink NVR can record from any Reolink camera on your network, not just its own ports.

Does the Duo take up two camera slots? (For example you can only have 4 of them in an 8 camera NVR?)

I actually just got the 8-camera NVR in for testing, so this is next on the list of things to try. Assuming it's compatible (which it may not be), it only has one physical plug.

Yep, definitely takes up two channels, same as on the desktop software. No way to squish them together as far as I can tell.
