I understand how it is with ribbons. There are so many colors and you need the color that goes with your project. Not all reds, or purples or any other colors are the same. I use to work in a quilting store and I learned how a subtle difference in color can change everything. My problem isn't ribbons, it's fabric! Cotton fabrics. I don't quilt anymore because I don't have the space but I'm not going to get rid of my fabric.

We're just craft hoarders at heart😁 and with junk journaling everything is savable, but I know what you mean about the perfect colour☺️ I'll be using some fabric for a boho journal this week, should be interesting😘🤗💜

I enjoy a good organized drawer!! And the thought process. My granddaughter knows it’s my favorite thing to do 😅

You wouldn’t have believed how much ribbon I had! Many years ago Michael’s (craft store) was switching from ribbon that was sold by the inch to prepackaged ribbon. And guess what?! Yep! I had a field day! I had them hanging on narrow curtain rods behind my craft room door. The door was always open so I never even thought about the ribbon. It was very dusty…so I did exactly what you said you weren’t going to do: wrapped each & every one on card pieces! Took several days! Now it’s all in boxes by color families or holiday & it’s so much easier to use!! I love it so much now, but it was a BIG job! Those spools take up so much space! Thanks for bringing back fun memories!! Erica❤

As a new subscriber I'm working my way around your playlists slowly. This one caught my eye! Ribbon drawers. I had 3. Every width, colour, type. Like you said, bargain bins in The Range and HobbyCraft and The Works. It got ridiculous, with all the reels being different sizes and too big for the amount of ribbon....so I did the cardboard hack thing. All colour sorted. Took me hours, but I went from 3 to 1 drawer! Brilliant. I had a whole black sack of the cardboard and plastic reels. 🥳 TFS ♥️

I really did like this video because you are so like me. That will probably horrify you as I’m a Lancashire lash (north Liverpool on the way to Southport and i was one who, many years ago, was outraged when we where no longer classed as Lancashire but Merseyside…….but i am so enjoying dbinge watching your vids. I too have a ribbon draw (or two) and have gone from craft to craft since my teenage days and as im in my mid 70s that is a lot of days and crafts. I’m trying to destash but it is difficult. What i can and cannot do is now physically is becoming the criteria for if to stays or if it goes. Keep on rambling and ill keep on listening (maybe while im storing out more laces out as i have been doing this morning. Thank you again. Bye 💁🏼‍♀️

Stack ribbon up by color so when u You want a certain color go to that stack

I'm one of those organisers that is full off good intentions, then as soon as i use stuff, i wreck the organisation. what i really need is a small child in the craft room fetching and carrrying😘🤗💜

Your ribbon boxes are stuff of nightmares. I would just have to cut my losses and put it on the school box or trash can! It needs gone lol. I don’t know why I am saying this because I have several big boxes of tangled ribbons, twine. String and cord plus a plethora of other stuff within that family!

Guess what Penny, half if it did get sent to the charity shop. Another year of not using any of the plain stuff and it was gone. Replaced by other nightmares😅😂😊🤗💜
