it is so refreshing to see a collection that isn't just 100% complete stock dolls on display with a bunch of incomplete dolls roting away in a bin because they arent 'display ready'. I also have a fair amount of restyles and dolls that are so sentimental and deserve to be displayed despite their condition. your collection is so personal and shows just how much you truly love Monster High. you are amazing!

I remenber when I was 8 having a big Monster High collection was my DREAM so seeing this made my inner child really happy

I stopped collecting when they stopped the original MH....I have The Shining Twins and Pennywise...those were last ones I had gotten.. Like your collection...I have mine all in their groups, I also didn't collect every single series, wish I had 😁 Oh n you never get too old to collect 💖💖💖 Oh n I like to put them like they are talking to each other and make each have expressive hands..

I relate sm to asking people what their favorite of something is esp when its of something im proud of. Whenever i used to have friends over id ask them what their favorite crystal in my collection was and if i wasnt rlly attached 2 it id give it to them :)

I honestly ADORE gigi and rochelle’s faces-i love how they lowky look like their doing sad puppy eyes I rlly hope they could keep that sort of energy when they get included in g3 tho most likely not 😔 still would love to see them come back g3 has improved alot with the designs (examples being abbey & venus) Also yeah i agree on the animation, g1 even tho it was low budget was still much more style wise-it had alot more personality & uniquness if it make sense I also do think the voice acting in g1 was much better-i dont like how alot of the actors in g3 just use their regular voices(clawdeen & draculaura for example) or that majority if them just have anerican accents(why does dracula sound like an american sitcom dad 😭) I also agree with the dolls, i do still like to buy tons of the g3 dolls cus i still like them but i also do think many many of them are just meh or just ugly 😭 i got hoth monster ball cleo & lagoona and their still defiently the weakest ones of the line(which is sad cause overall its a good line draculaura , clawdeen n frankie are all peak) I also do adore fearidecent frankie but its hard to truly appricate them now that i have them cause of the poly hair, its already becoming frizzy & gross to touch same with g3 abbey i really gotta reroot so many of the g3 dolls with saran or nylon cause the poly is just bsd

Your collection is truly gorgeous and impressive! I've been similarly taken with the G3 Fearidescent Frankie and the Neon Frights Twyla but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I DID just get the new Venus though and she is STUNNING!! I wasn't into MH as a kid either (thought I was "too old" for dolls by then... LOL) so I've been getting really into collecting G3 now in my 20s. I wish I could find G1s secondhand for reasonable prices but like you said they're ridiculous rn. Loved the video!! 💜

This is the first video I’ve watched of yours and I just wanna say, straight from the get go, I LOVED your energy. Especially in the hot pouring out of you when talking about going through it all with your boyfriend. This was such a great vid, keep doing what you do !!

I appreciated the talk about the pricing and second hand market etc. I got into monster high a bit late (I'm 24 so they started coming out when I was 10, but my folks were deffos not a fan of them, they were "too scary" (demonic) for me apparently) (they've since grown, it's taken years but anyways lol) so I could only get them when I moved out. I have 2 draculauras, a lagoona, and a clawdeen, none of which are in good shape lol but I got all of them for 7 bucks on eBay together, minus the draculaura who was a value village find. they were going to turn into ooaks but then g3 became easier for me to find (and fit the OCs I wanted to make better honesty) so I now have a G3 Draculaura, Frankie (and a second Frankie for ooak reasons), and fright nights Clawdeen and Frankie (can you tell I needed a doll with light blue skin for an oc lmao) before G3 came out, starting off with the idea of getting some dolls was daunting because man, the prices online sometimes (ESP WITH CANADIAN SHIPPING) are INSANE. in store pricing is pretty high but not bonkers, and it's also more standardized. anyways, sorry for the word wall lmao - finding them deffos takes some luck

as someone who started collecting monster high somewhat recently, i can confirm finding the dolls for a price i’d want to pay is difficult! also, i totally agree with you on monster high dolls being harder to find in thrift stores now, i’ve only found five g1’s in the past year in a half and i typically hit thrift stores once or twice a week! hopefully the secondhand market for monster high dolls will decrease soon 🤞🤞

I have the same love and enthusiasm about disney fariys. I have quite a collection that i'm really pleased with at the moment. I like how creative each doll is in The monster high line. I have a few monster high dolls in my collection. I have Arthropodians and even tho she is missing most of her Accessories and half a leg. (Sje has her wings and Corset skirt) i love her so much. Watching her videos always gives me the confidence to be my ture authentic self and create beautiful things. ✨️🍄

My brother got me a very first skullector of Nightmare before Christmas for Christmas however it's never remove from box. I still it, maybe I can make custom dolls of them but in my own version like a red carpet or 100 anniversary.

Have you ever considered learning to sew doll clothes? I know it would be quite the time investment, but it would help solve the “don’t have their outfit” and “dislike the original outfit” issues. I feel you on liking a doll, but not being able to get over the outfit. Your thoughts on Trotter were almost my exact thoughts!🤣 Although for me, I think the main issue with the outfit is the colors. It needs….something, but I’m not sure what. Just not THAT!

nah but dolls in Canada are SO hard to get and also very expensive. I can afford them because i don't have any bills to pay or anything as i'm still a minor and still live with my parents, but at my local walmart just the signature dolls are like 46.96$ with tax. that's insane.
