@@Leo-cf4mi Yes, exactly, she added a lot more clarity. What she did in NYC is a crystal clear example of what is to come if she ever gets hold of the government. The only difference is that it will happen on a national scale, that is unless she makes it illegal for company's and people to leave the US... the latter of course is what the USSR did.

Ricardo Perez she’s doing important work, I want to say, though, no one said it was supposed to be enjoyable to watch politics, and with the rise of AOC we need to be careful lest we make politics a site of entertaining disclosures and provocative lines of questioning. Again, pro-AOC person here, but also worried about the fate of our entertainment society :^>

@@reeseriley225 Good point. Although i think the level of entertainment within politics has already taken it toll on the government's ability to run efficiently. Massive media has been a gift and a curse. A gift in that it serves as a resource which allows more people to follow what is going on in government. A curse in that sometimes the following is swayed by influence which leads to misdirection or high levels of bias.

@@alexocasio-gomez5267 What are you talking about? You're wrong. She's paying her entry level employees at least 52 grand/year which is way more than the market rate in D.C. (and fox news called it communism even). The only person who took a pay cut is the lead person in her office who is taking in 80 grand/year instead of 150 grand/year and that person actually doesn't mind doing so, since he believes there should be more equity in the workplace.

@@WindyMelly 50 grand/year is way below the market rate in DC. Factory workers in Ohio make more than that. Others are paying a top pay of $150 grand/year. AOC caps her top workers at 80.

The truth of the matter is entry level office positions for politicians is low pay, at 30 grand/year, if that. Don't believe me, search on KZfaq for the fox and friends segment complaining about AOC paying her staff higher wages. And why should get senior staff member get paid an obscene amount compared to other staff who work just as hard? Again, only one person on her team took a pay cut and he was all for it.

6:30 - It seems to me extremely strange that, when showing this video footage of Mark Meadows questioning Cohen, when Meadows asks how Cohen "reconciles" Trump being a racist with the fact that he hired Ms. Patton, a black woman, Amy cuts away from Cohen's excellent answer: namely, that there are "zero" African-Americans in executive positions in the Trump Organization.

AOC line of questioning was excellent. She avoided the emotional empty bread and circus of Meadows.. that was simply an attempt to over shadow the seriousness of the inquiry. Also everyone KNOWS trump is a racist by evidence of his long history of open active RACISM, but this is America and they do not convict people for being racists. Therefore I appreciate AOC for not getting involved in this frivolous discussion and keeping to all the VALID points that she was able to get addressed.
