In a House Armed Services Committee hearing with top Pentagon and U.S. military officials, Congressman Salud Carbajal highlighted the strong partnership between the California National Guard and Ukraine’s military, in particular their history of training exercises at Camp Roberts in San Luis Obispo County.
Congressman Carbajal, a Marine veteran and member of the Armed Services Committee, also asked Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley to estimate the value that that partnership has had in Ukraine’s efforts to repel the recent unprovoked invasion of Russian forces.
