The trick or treat studios myers 2018 mask is good but they over did the damage this is alot more accurate its really really good

In some of the long distance shots of the mask, you can actually see a lot of similarities in this mask compared to those used in the movie. So we can conclude TOTS actually did use a mold from the film!

I have another Trick or Treat 2018 Myers mask on the way. Really happy with this mask, but it's not really accurate ( First try doing this ) so i'll do better next time. Watch this space

Dean, i knew it: you couldn't wait, could ya? Seriously though, for your first time painting a mask you absolutely NAILED IT! That repaint is fantastic! You are mad talented, sir. I also loved the video; the way it was shot, the music, the overall feel of it was IMMENSLY entertaining, bravo! And yes, you definitely should grab a second TOTS mask and give it another try: you are an absolute natural. (I do hope you mixed in latex with the paint though).

so i would def recommend getting black for the cracks. i did that when i repainted mine a few weeks ago. i also went a little too far with it like youre afraid of but i was able to correct it with adding and washing more white over the top. Good luck with it, patience is key!

How can I make the scratches look like real?

Looks way better, you did great. If your thinking of doing some more, seal up the mask now with some matt finish. That will keep these layers as they are so if you go a bit heavy with new paint, washes.... , just rub it off. Your previous paint will stay the same before you sealed it 👍

I almost preferred it with the solid white and just a bit of the weathering.

did you just use acrylic paint or was it a mixture of the paint, liquid latex? water maybe to dilute? what should i use for when i do this to mine?

For the weathering did you add latex or just basic acrylic paint

Hi Dean when you use brown and other colours for the wash did you mix liquid latex with it or was the liquid latex just for the mean base colour

Such a weirdly edited video. I'd love to know what colours and methods you used to make it that good. You don't explain anything or talk about what your actually doing to the mask which is hard to follow.

Good job. Not a fan of this mask really. It's definitely what the new movie required but some of the aesthetics were lost. Part 2 was the daddy! So nasty looking.
