Es fácil desarmarlo y soldar pero lo realmente difícil es saber donde cortar el cable.. como rayos saber donde esta dañado en q parte del cable ??? Eso es lo difícil desarmar yo creo q cualquiera puede x ejemplo yo sin ver el video le metí la uña de mi dedo meñique y listo lo abrí pero quede en las mismas xq no esta dañado de la raíz sino en alguna parte del cable :'V

yeah even iam facing the same issue... in the starting days it worked well(fro an year i think) and loved now the speaker is gone if you like to change the speaker of the headphone which one you do prefer?

put it in rice for an hour or more (overnight if you are so inclined) do not turn it on until you are sure its dry. if it doesnt work unless your willing to invest in replacement parts i would consider buying a new one. personally i left mine charging and it kind of melting near the charging terminal im sure the rechatgable battery in mine is blown.
