Thank you for making this video! I am working on the HP DJ 800ps and error 81:01 and 86:01. The screw at 10:59 in the video took me longer than anything else, it stripped, and I didn't have a good way to fix that.

I have a problem where I don't know if the disc encoder OR the carriage scale encoder strip OR timing belt is the problem OR something with the actual carriage is broken and makes a screatching strong noise every time i open the printer. The green power led and the two orange leds for ink and paper keep flashing simultaneously. Some times it thinks a paper jam has occurred but that is not the case. How can I calibrate the sensor for the disc encoder? How do I calibrate the sensor for the carriage scale encoder strip? My printer is Epson L3110. My printer does not have a LCD screen for error codes so I don't know what's actually wrong. How can I figure out what the problem is? Thank you!

ya trate de instalar esa version y tambien me pide como minimo la version A.02.06 es por esta razon que ando tratando de ver quien tiene esa version ya que la mia es mas antigua A.02.01 y hp requiere la otra como requisito para actualizar

Hi Friend 81:01 error it's about encoder disk you have to check it if dirty (clean)or damaged (replace) and check also thé disk encoder clean or replace if damaged. See all the vidéo to be able to fix the error. thanks

Hi friend You must change your disc encoder if the error code is 81:01 really indicates a problem with the disc, but if the disc is really intact you must change the disk sensor with 56:01 code. Good speed

dear Miguel this problem with the beep sound is that of code 81:01 for encoder disc which must be damaged or dirty if this is not the case the disc detector is dirty or damaged and must be cleaned with alchool or changed
