Repair your failing headlamp on Fiat panda 169 (Save up to 200€) 🚙

Your headlamp has stopped to work on your Fiat Panda. Did you try to replace the light bulb and it still not working? Then watch this video to solve the problem. Probably your light connector had got melted. This is a common problem of this car. My car is Panda 169 1.2 i 69 cv.
If you go to the garage they probably start changing the bulb without success. Then they will check the fusible but it works. When they connect the console to the car they do not see any problem. They will start to spend and spend time looking for the problem.
You can check if this is your problem by removing the grey socket in the control unit. If it is difficult to remove it, probably the connector had got melted. When you finally remove the connector you have to check wires on pin 7 (Wire grey and black) and pin 8 (Wire grey); the two smaller wires.
Then you can opt to repair it by your self cleaning the connector and socket or you can buy the reparation kit 71745167.

Buenas, te estoy super agradecido por tu video. Hace unos días he tenido la misma avería que describes en el faro de un panda, antes de llevarlo a reparar he mirado todo cuanto se me ha ocurrido y finalmente tu video ha caido en mis manos y he solucionado el problema. The Video helped me right away, I have a Fiat 169 (Panda), the exact same connector was melted so only 1 headlight was working. So, Thankyou very much.

Thanks for the tip. I have manage to solve problem for now. I had a bad contact on connector, the contact did not burn for now but this is obviously some type od factory mistake on this version od Panda. I have one od last version of this Panda (manufactured 11/2011) and I think that is very sad that manucturer did not solve this problem on later versions od this Panda.

Thank you for the vdos, they are very very helpful. Question though; how do you take the headlight assembly out to replace the whole unit. Currently my driver side headlight unit has moisture in it and I would like to replace it, plus it is getting cloudy and reducing the lighting. Thank you once again for your tutorial videos.

Hi Sec, Sorry, I do not have access to the Fiat Panda anymore since I have change my car. I have some friends that have the car, if they have this problem I can try to repair them and make the video but I don't know when. Thanks for your feedback and for giving me an idea for a video. tengo el mismo problema en el panda y un mecanico electricista me ha presupuestado 300 euros. Seria muy dificil comprar el kit de reparacion e instalarlo uno mismo? el kit es facil de encontrar por eso

Sí, venden el kit en todas las web de repuestos o ebay. Si eres un poco manitas y tienes un día para dedicarte al coche, no parece complicado. Si no lo hubiera solucionado con el método del video, habría comprado el kit y lo habría instalado yo mismo.

El kit cuesta unos 40 euros. Vale la pena intentarlo creo, sino, pediría más ofertas a otros mecánicos

compre el kit y funciona, es facil de instalar, solo hay que comprar conectores y vainas ya que los 2 cables del kit son de aluminio y los cables a conectar son de cobre. Gracias.

Hi, you have repair only a dirty contact. The lamp fails again in a few monts. :-( Is better use a relais for decrease the current on the connector ;-)....

@Roberto Ongago How did you install the relay before power reaches the connector? Or would installing the relay directly onto the headlight help?

brother help, one low beam work ( right), but one doesnt work(left). What will be problem Bulb working, fuse work...

Maybe the connector is very damaged and you need to replace the connector but you can try first to change the fusibles. Take a look to the next video where I show you how to do this two things: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gZOeZa-BsNzNmIU.html

Nice recomendation! Less intensity throw the wire and the it will not burn the connector again. I had to repaired three times already. I will try this. In Spain you will need to remember to put back the incandescent bulb when doing the ITV every year.
