You're most correct in stating when the hobby becomes work it no longer becomes a hobby. However, I will repair trains for friends and neighbors at a fraction of the cost of a repair station. My good friend who owns a train repair and retail store is retiring from the operation this August so I have honing my skills. I won't bite off more than I can chew.
