this is my first time repairing a boat trailer. there's things I would've done differently that I mentioned in the video. How did I do?

That galv spray is amazing. I use it all the time while welding on boat hoists and other marine applications.

Yeah had some advice from other welders on KZfaq. Learning everyday. I don't know everything but I know a little of everything 💪🤘💯

Looking back I would've done it differently. I should've just bent with heat as opposed to the slices. 🤷‍♂️ we learn as we go

Make sure you wear a papr when welding Galvanized. Or at least respirator and a fan🤷‍♂️

For what I charged he could've gotten a new one. I told him there's free ones on fb marketplace usually with a free boat.

I charged about 1000. This was a job that needed to be done on a day that I had booked so I charged more to accommodate

Good job on those bends. How much did u charge for that job? I ask because I know bending by cutting takes forever. So I was wondering if you anticipated that before u priced the job?

$1200 sir and yes I took it all into consideration and even talked to one of my subscribers who happens to be a welder and lives closer to me.

They guy is wealthy and time was important too him as he needed his bout out the water asap. I had no time do it so I tried to price him out of it and recommended getting a new one. He pulled the cash out and said "can you do it tommorow?"😁 uhhhh yes.

@@DannyWeldz first, well done……..just to be clear, you didn’t really want the job, (probably due to all the cut bending involved) so you gave a crazy price thinking he would pass. Instead he said, ok? Just a request. When you do these job work videos, can you do the price/negotiation story in the future. Thanks either way on the request, and for your insight.
