Watching women’s football reminds of watching kids just starting out and learning how to kick a ball for the first time

7 caps in a period when England had Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Alan Smith, Hargreaves so never gonna get more than that was he. Wasn’t at those sort of levels. If anything your point shows the chasm between the two international sides in terms of quality unless that was your point? Either way womens football can only be good for the game, I don’t enjoy watching it but plenty do. I’d sooner go and watch non league stuff

@MM mcfc93 my point is how poor women's football is.. Bentley had so much technical ability and only had 7 caps..aluko has very little ability and has 100 caps... women's football is a massively poor standard and I would say even the lionesses lose to a standard under 15s lads team in Scotland and England.. it's just annoying putting men and women together in these challenges and it's part of the reason soccer am has failed now

I rarely watch women’s football as I’d sooner watch lower league football, it’s a lot less pretentious. Bentley was one of many talented players who didn’t have a long England career, it shows the lack of competition and depth in quality in the women’s international game compared to the men’s. You’ll never be able to directly say and prove it to those who are forcing women’s football down our throats that men are better even though we know they are unless you have a game between the two sides, and nobody needs to see that embarrassment. I can’t believe they think they should earn what the men earn, it’s a bizarre lack of self awareness isn’t it. Soccer am were just simply fulfilling the nonsense need to show diversity regardless of talent.
