Thanks Cristi Kerekes for the tutorial, this really helped me. I tried your steps, I set my layers into 1 Stamp Visible Layer without adding background, so my new layer got that grey checker background. But now I can't use the Blur>Tilt-Shift function. Is that because the background is empty? Thanks in advance

Which I find really strange because it's super helpful! Maybe people are just overwhelmed and don't use the smart object function because it looks so complicated? Or are used to old behaviour patterns and don't want to learn new things. Who knows! But hopefully the lower view count won't stop you from sharing your knowledge with us still 😅👌
