i hope it works too bro it fixed my harsh shifting thought i needed a whole new transmission but turned out the solenoids were clogged

i'm in mass bro and i appreciate u i'd be glad to help by answering any questions just got a busy schedule it's a like a 1-2 hour job prob less if u know how to deal with removing a oem factory intake box and the battery along side the battery tray/holder get some basic tools couple rathet including a micro ratchet for tight spots, extensions, 10 and 12 mm sockets

i would try to get the car diagnosed by a professional the problem can honestly vary it don't hurt to do an initial transmission flush with 3qt honda dw1 atf and put new external solenoids even the internal ones if your up for the challenge but could also be a safety neutral switch problem but not 100 percent sure i drove my car for months with a harsh shift and it permanently messed with my shifting 1-2 has slight delay the rest work great but that's on me for waiting to long also its good to check for your transmission mounts and motor mounts just in case

look for any codes that can help u get a better understanding and do some more research for sure if u plan on tryin to fix it your self

Yeah when I put in my scanner no codes pop up what I been thinking of doing is changing the solenoids the neutral safety switch all together and I was looking at Amazon for the solenoids i don’t know which ones to go with lmao

yeah as long as they say it fits your specific vehicle you should be good i got mines off ebay put my car info 2005 acura tsx and they fit

give or take prob different part but same concept if anything a bit easier then the acuras

yes it did but i got pretty lucky if u get a flashing d and don't try fixing it right away u can risk ruining your transmission i got lucky unfortunately i drove it with the harsh shifting and i have slight delay only 1-2 all the other gears catch perfect could of possibly been avoided if i had changened them for new ones sooner including an initial transmission flush which is about 3 qt you can find it in the owners manual as well or look it up

Which color wire is solenoid b is it the orange or red wire

honestly don't know off the top of my head but if you are trying to change the internal solenoids i'd recommend u get all 5 instead of just one they are like 60 bucks on ebay they pre owned but tested to make sure they work prior to shipping

So changing the solenoids inside of the case didn’t do the trick? You had to replace the two on the outside?

honestly i changed all of em just to be safe because they can get clogged if your transmission fluid is really dirty u just wanna make sure you put wverything exactly how you took it out take pictures if u have to there's like 9 10mm bolts holding the cover like 3-4 or longer then the rest and when u take them off start from the top one there's 4 10 mm bolts the first one keeps the harness in place second bolt holds two solenoids together pay attention to which one comes out first the other hold the rest of them going straight down
