Is there a way to add them to the hood?

Yeah, you could definitely do something of the sort. You'd just need to get a set specifically for a hood, and you'd have to drill the holes and get the spacing right yourself. Check around on KZfaq and Google and see what other people have done.

Thanks. I had an element before the crV n members replace the original struts with struts for a VW which gave you 6” more lift to the gate thereby clearing my head ( I’m 6’). Have you found a better replacement for the CRV that allows more clearance? Thanks.

@@michaelcozzini5252 these one I got seem to be pretty good, and they're stuff enough to where there's no play when it's fully open. I'm right under 5'11" and have no issue with mine unless I'm backed down a slope
