I can feel your fast breaths, this is one of the most difficult filters change job in this car. I first opened the gloves compartment and found that I got fooled by majority of 'Ford Mondeo Mk4 cabin filter change videos'. Then I referred to the instructions manual came with the new cabin filter. It was very difficult to unscrew and mount back the accelerator while car is on the ground. I literally had to lay on the ground in order to reach the screws and bolts. I was unable to push the filter in there filter box, and I decided to mount back everything and ask the mechanic to do it but then I found your video and found it very helpful how you placed the accelerator on the brake pedal. This way I was able to push the filter.

Michle díky. Pan konstruktér je opravdu *píp*. Tomu bych to nechal vymontovat a vyměnit 50x za sebou jako když jsme opisovali ve škole tresty: "Už nikdy nebudu házet po spolužácí houbu" :-)

For greater convenience, you can unplug the connector and remove the accelerator pedal entirely.

Thanks, man! After I took out the glove box I discovered that my pollen filter is not there how I expected. Your video showed me where it is.

Same happened to me as well. This was one of the most difficult work I did. Screws were almost impossible to put back while car is not lifted as in mechanic garages.

Yes, that will be a good person from Ford, who thinks he knows everthing.. But I can tell you, that is even harder if you have a Mondeo MK4 with the right hand drive... And some other example, try to change the glow plugs on this 2.0 tdci engines...its impossible.. you have to remove the EGR system, and you need to have 2m arms... oh boy ///Peugeot..

This being a car with two different kinds of timing belts in one engine Im thinking the same mindset has been applied designing this fuckery. Just changed this filter on my car and damn what an exercise it was.

Yes noticed the same. I think Mondeo mk4 has been designed to cut manufacturing costs and easy to assemble on factory line. Not considered point of ease of maintenance, no.

Thaaank you sooo much for your tuto !! WTF this *$^&é engineer who fitted this !! But we succeeded !! One information usefull should be the good way to put the new filter with the arrow "Air Flow" in good place. We put it with the arrow towrads the inside of the car... Hope we did it well...

Very funny beginning :) My GF asked me to do some replacements - but how on earth is this car complicated 🙈😩from battery, filter changing etc.. My volkswagen is way easier. Do you guys having problem with radio? Sometimes does not work at all - death. Sometimes works normallly.

I don't know... Mine is a RHD... I opened on passenger side yesterday and found it, but unfortunately Ford don't stock them anymore.. So had to make a special order... Your's is definitely in a very bad spot, that I can say!! Cheers mate.

So such bad engineering. :D I changed after 3x VW (passat B5.5, Golf VII and Touran 1T) to the Mondeo MK4 and starting realising how i much i need to learn :D
