Replacing a Fox Offroad Shock Eyelet

Күн бұрынThis video show how to replace a Fox 2.0 shaft eyelet. Although this process is nearly identical for most offroad shocks. With exception to airshocks that generally have internally threaded shock shafts. So you would want to heat the shaft and not the eyelet in that case.

I just rebuilt my Icons and noticed that the balljoint was loose in the eyelet, as the eyelets themselves were previously damaged by a bad mechanic. Would there be any issue with doing this without breaking down the shock again? Really don't want to have to take it all apart just for that if I don't have to!

This question may shock you but is every shock convertible. I found a Yamaha shock w/nitrogen can and wanted to use it to raise my ride height but I've viced the piston as tightly as possible but still can't remove the fork mount
