In this video we replace the batteries on the Kwikset Aura Bluetooth lock. This procedure is the same for most smart locks and keyless locks, like the Kwikset Smartcode 260. These instructions may also work for other manufactures like Schlage. We will also go over the battery expectations for the Kwikset Aura lock.

Hi, I have the Halo with the wifi and bluetooth for my two Airbnb units. They get about 4 activities per day and I'm lucky to get 4 months out of a set of batteries. Duracell, Energizer, Amazon. They all last about the same. I'm glad you're getting so many months out of yours. I've also tried turning off the sound and lights, but the average time is about the same.
