Replacing Lower control arm W204 C63 Mercedes

8 ай бұрынHave a terrible clunk, creak, squeak, cracking sound coming from the front of my car. Replaced the Rack and Pinion, Tie rod ends, Upper control arms, sway bar end links, wheel bearing swap and strut bushing. The LCA did the trick!

When the lower control arm ball joint starts to wear out and you put the car on a hoist they at times jam up and when lowered back onto the ground again can squeak or grind like that till they have worn a new spot again. Only happens when it's pretty well stuffed. And yes bloody expensive.

Im having an issue where my steering isn't straight on my w204.. any advice ?

if its your steering wheel it could be a bad alignment and have it aligned or if you have messed with the steering rack, it could be the splines from the steering wheel shaft to the rack are off and need to be lined up better

Any chance the cheaper remanufactured parts will work?

I dont think you can get a cheaper one. From what I am told, the LCA is only made by MB

i made that mistake, normal w204 are about 0.5 inches shorter from ball joint to bushing and are not as beefy. you need to just bend over and take the AMG tax on these,
