Replacing the Brake Light on a W211 Mercedes E Class

You read it right... it's break light because it breaks all the time!!! I replaced the third brake light on my 2003 Mercedes W211 E320. It's something very simple to do and you can find OEM brake lights on Ebay or even your local junkyard.

It's a brake light. The tabs you pull off the liner have an center insert with hold them in place- remove that first then the tab- not both at once like you show.

Thanks. I actually pulled the center enough to free up the bottom part. Then I pull the bottom. No need to completely remove the top piece

I’m sure there is. But if you search for mercedes w211 third brake light, you’ll find it.

@@dcfgarage they are absolutely fine , I don’t see why they have to be changed(especially for being a daily) if you go any further on the rim size , potholes destroy it!
