This video is actually a lifesaver, was going out of my mind trying to figure out the factory red and black Speaker wires..which One is positive and which is negative, not sure how you figured it out but I trust that red is positive and black is negative.

I'm not a big sound guy but for me they sound a lot better than the original OEM speakers. It has a little more bass which is nice since I don't plan on installing a subwoofer 😁

How did you get all the panels off?

Most of the panels pop off pretty easy. To get to the rear requires taking off the panels near the door first. Then just work your way back to the speakers. I would get a panel remover tool to make it easier to remove panels

where did you get the trim kit for the Radio?

Are you talking about the trim around my center console or the black trim around the speakers? If its the trim around the center console, you can look up part number 55405-52790. If its for the trim around the speakers, look up Metra part number 82-8152. Hope this helps!

Speakers were about $40 at Best Buy plus the adapters ($10) so about $50 total

arvin_arn Okay thanks, I actually bought some from autozone for $37 and I ended up sawing the old speaker frame and used them as adapters.
