Use TarX or Rapid Remover for removing adhesive and residue. It’s safe for the paint and will literally melt the adhesive. One or two wipes and it’s all gone

Can you measure the size of that bowtie on your tailgate?? I’m looking for one the same size in black for my milti flex tailgate? But I need to order the correct size…

on my 22 i think they used adhesive promoter on the Z71 and Duramax badges. The rear badge tape came right off. the front 4 took hours.

I just bought the same badges. Haven’t put them on. They don’t look like they will stick for the long haul. How are yours holding up?

To get adhesive off, wd40 works well. Nice job! Looks good

I just got a 2023 trail boss. The back of the hood “scoop” and dash chrome is blinding in the sun!!

you have to watch the corners when removing badges too. they can chip the paint it you dig them in. Dealer had to pay to repaint my new 17 Camaro SS trunk lid. They gave it to a kid who had no idea what he was doing.

Number one you needed to heat it up a little more and number two you should start away from you and pull the fishing line towards you. The original emblem looks better

Noticed your bug shield, are you concerned about the paint fading around the shield?

No, I was concerned about water being trapped at the bottom, doesn’t seem to be an issue though. I’ve got one on my 2010 that’s been on there since new and fading hasn’t been an issue, but it’s also black so I don’t know how it will affect the red.
