"The X-37B is a spaceplane that has launched several classified long-duration missions in space, but it is unclear why it is launching on the more massive Falcon Heavy as opposed to the workhorse Falcon 9 that SpaceX has launched it on before," according to Space.com.

I have to agree. It''s very cool, no matter how many times one watches. I've been watching space ;launches since the 60's - and I love it all. What is REALLY COOL is watching the boosters return to Earth and land themselves!

This was the first launch I've ever seen. And I did it by accident! I had just entered EPCOT, and I was standing just in front of Spaceship Earth (the giant golf ball) and I saw up until MECO. Amazing. I need to see more, and from closer.

The other night I was standing outside of my house unaware of this launch. I live about two hours away. I looked up in the sky and I saw what appeared to be a plane on fire. I didn’t know what to think. I thought we were either getting attacked by missiles or a plane was crashing. But then when I continue to see this little red dot go deeper and deeper into space I said “oh shit… Did I just witness a rocket launch?“. I have never seen one of these before. It was a very cool experience.
