When exactly did another country invade Israel and spend 130 years murdering the local population in an effort to commit genocide and take their land? Israel has never been the good guys and technically aren't an actual country. Israel ceased to exist almost 3,000 years ago and the land now called Israel was Palestine until 1948 when the British gave the land to the zionists. The zionists started settling in the area in the late 1800s and to do that they had to kill the occupants of the land. For the last 130 years, the zionists have been killing Palestinians to take their land and 100% of the land we call Israel was taken from the people living there via murdering them and taking it from them. October 7th was retaliation for Israel killing over 1,000 Palestinians in the first half of 2023, the 2,000 Palestinians who were abducted and placed in indefinite detention without trial or charges in the summer of 2023 by the IDF, the 80 Palestinian students who were abducted by the IDF the week before, thousands of Palestinians who lost their homes in the summer of 2023 in the West Bank when Israel restarted their illegal settlement program... The list of bullshit Israel did in 2023 leading up to the October 7th attack is a mile long. When you look at everything Israel has done since 1948 it is extremely difficult to view their existence as valid. Who has done these things to Israel? WHO? Objectively speaking, the Israelis are an occupying force attempting to take the land via genocide. They are not the good guys. They have never been the good guys. They have, since day one, been the bad guys. The Israelis have killed at least a million Palestinians since this all started a century ago. And they do not plan on stopping until the last of them is dead.

@noamto First, there would need to be a peace agreement, and Israel doesn't want that. Second, the UN Security Council would have to vote to do it, and the US would vote against/veto it. Third, Israel would have to agree to it, and they wouldn't want that. I'm not sure who you're referring to that is stealing the convoys cargo. If you mean Hamas, as far as I know, that's only an accusation made by Israel.

They are 100% correct. Until 1948, the entire region was known as Palestine. In the late 1800s, European Jews who were tired of being chased out of every country they tried to settle in started settling in what is now Israel. The problem is the land was not empty and was occupied by Palestinians. This meant in order for them to settle in the region they had to kill the occupants and take their land. Since the occupants were Arabs, the Christian countries sided with Israel and after the Turks fell to the British, the British gave the land to Israel. Again, there were already people living on the land they were given. So they had to, again, kill the occupants to take their land. At least a half million Arab civilians have been killed since then. Israel technically does not exist. It ceased to exist 2,700 years ago and it has never been Israeli land. Israelis technically don't exist because they are an occupying force and are not the actual owners of the land.

I saw a video where Jewish settlers destroying aid to refugees in Gaza. Food and medicine going to innocent people, many of them children. I dont get the level of cruelty and nastiness. So sad.

Thus, even from Zionists arguments that Jews have the right to the land, so too would Palistinians. In fact, early Zionists knew the Palistinians were Jews and Israelites but tried to hide it.

Cenk - it is far more than 30 Oct 7ths because you also have to take into account the 80 thousand plus injured who cannot get proper treatment, plus all the Palestinians who have medical conditions that cannot be treated, plus all the newborns that are starving because their mothers have no milk etc etc.

Isreal has a right to defend itself against starving people. Defending itself by starving people who are starving. Defend itself from a repeat of october 7 by doing exactly what they were doing to Palestinians in the years and months before october 7. They must not have a very good PR department or military strategist. Unless the truth is they are not defending themselves.

Medical workers in Israel have told the BBC that Palestinian detainees from Gaza are routinely kept shackled to hospital beds, blindfolded, sometimes naked, and forced to wear nappies - a practice one medic said amounted to “torture”.
