I'm a low time (~200 hours) pilot. I passed my Private Pilot check ride at the end of November 2022. Your channel was the one constant I watched from before I took my first discovery flight up through and beyond getting my certificate. It infuriates me that there are people who are so childish, so jealous, so whatever this person's problem was, that they'd try to take away this gift that you've given the aviation community. Thank you for all you do, thank you for not letting the haters hold you back, and THANK YOU for the valuable content you've created that truly helped me become a better pilot while also being constantly entertained :)

Don't let the basement trolls get ya down. Love your content. It has helped me in my PPL journey no end, and put many smiles on my face over the years, especially through challenging times. I'm encouraged by the FAA inspector comments. That was the right conclusion to this complaint. I'm a Commercial pilot; SES and ASES with instrument rating and have been flying since 1986. I learn from you, your passion for perfection and your humor all toward the goal of making us better pilots. Thank you for your content and keep on doing what you are doing. I'd love to fly with you when we're next in Florida.

Keep doing what you’re doing! I have been the subject of being brought about in a SM platform and authorities. Certainly made me rethink my profession (soccer coaching in this instance) people who post and report without context or full knowledge invite random people to add comments that are flat out lies/Statements that are not even relevant and certainly affected my mindset and what others thought about me/made accusations that weren’t true. You’re right there are people out there either jealous or have a bee in their bonnet that just becomes their grows into just rage and trying to ruin others. Made me hold off on posting for sure. You’re videos have certainly entertained me and I’m now on my career change pathway as a pilot. So keep it up! Glad your stronger than I was and continue with the content.

Hey man , I just wanted to express my full support for what the FAA is saying, and I find your videos truly inspiring. I've watched one of your CFI student help videos, and I must say, in this world, you'll encounter haters and people trying to bring you down. These folks may be upset because they're not pursuing their passions, but instead of taking action, they choose to criticize. You, on the other hand, keep doing what you love, making videos, and helping others. Your videos, especially the CFI ones, have been a significant encouragement for me in pursuing my CFII ticket, and hopefully, one day, becoming a Multiengine instructor and a DPE for the FAA. My long-term goal is to fly for one of the major carriers or the United States Air Force. I want you to know that your work is appreciated by myself and your fans. I understand you take safety seriously, with disclaimers and editing, and your videos reflect that. You're doing a great job, so keep up the excellent work. Don't let anyone, including the unhappy individuals, deter you from your path.

For the person asking about time building (other than going the CFI route) there’s banner tow, ferrying , sightseeing tours, and jump plane - and some places have low hour reqs for cargo (eg, bush piloting in Alaska). You can also build time volunteering (unpaid) for orgs like Pilots n Paws or Angel Flight, which can be extremely rewarding on many levels!

I must put a positive spin on this Forrest Gump (Stupid is as stupid does) world complaint. The FAA is the government and sometimes it gets very muddied. The FAA's mission is to provide the safest and most efficient airspace in the world. It is also here to provide service to our aviation needs and interest. My interpretation is you are the epitome of the FAA. You accomplish and far exceed the FAA mission. I see this complaint as a gift. The FAA has confirmed, as we already knew very well, that you give all of us pilots and future students the inspiration to succeed, learn, and be proficient in our aviation experiences. I have been a CFI for 17 years and my mission is to teach and be entertaining for every lesson. That is my prayer before every flight, please guide me to be both educational and entertaining. Thank you for your continuing contribution to aviation. I also believe in Karma. I have been a pilot for 39 years and I learn something new in all your videos. I need all the knowledge I can get.

As someone who has flown in my part time for 13 years and definitely older... You are a model of how to teach as I am slowly learning to be a CFI and a better AGI IGI... I have messed around with cameras on the plane making something people will watch start to finish is hard thanks for your content... Yours and a few others keep me amused in between work calls as well as helping me catch some nuggets of knowledge

Kudos. You have one of the best aviation channels. Your content is exceptional and you really do inspire folks to try aviation. I agree, there’s always going to be naysayers who don’t know what they’re talking about. Having a FSDO FAA guy giving you a thumbs up for your channel. . . Huge win.

As a pilot and beginner content creator on instagram. I appreciate the content you put out and what you do as a CFI. What the FAA said about you, is true.

I couldn't agree more on your take about "anonymous"! The mere fact that the person doesn't have the courage to identify themselves supports your conclusion on the character of that person! But I was comforted with the reaction of the FAA, you should be proud to have received that sort of unsolicited accolade!

Congratulations on the affirmation from the FAA inspector about the great work that you're completing for the community! Unfortunately, the individual that reported this is most likely getting gratification from any outcome. Thank you for your content and keep up the great work!

That's one area where the FAA and here in Australia CASA rules differ. In Australia there is a discrete formation flying rating. The part about having had prearranged the flight with the other pilots making up the formation is the same. Glad you sorted it all out.

Your videos def helped me during my journey to PPL. Literally in "getting me off my couch". While not always applicable to me (flying in Switzerland/Europe), it's interesting to see the differences. In my very limited experiences with the authorities, I also got the feeling they are very interested in getting more people flying (but of course doing it correctly) so I sometimes don't it when I see other Creators having a very negative view on FAA or even ATC...

Videos like yours got me into aviation. The fancy edited pretty videos got my wife to let me get into aviation. Also got my Flying Eyes using the Lewdix code. You do a great job, you're entertaining and real, not like watching a documentary. And my instructor is definitely the older guy, complete with the disappointed grandfather "no need to say anything because there's obviously no hope" sigh.

My CFI turned me onto these videos as he was convincing me to reach further than just getting my PPL as a hobby. If it wasn't for my CFI Nikita and these videos, I would not be a CFI candidate and changing careers. We greatly enjoyed the types of CFI video as my name is actually Caleb.

I have just found you recently and fully enjoy your videos. I'm in awe that you can find the time to produce such excellent quality, and with such good humour. Please just ignore the monkeys on your back, they have nothing to contribute in life and instead pick apart anything for cheap thrills. Keep up the good work.
