This video is great. I love the different setting in the opening and the sneak peek at you in the garden centre. I would love to see your reaction to different plants you see when walking around. Also I really enjoyed the angle you filmed the repot in as it was really easy to see what you were doing and it was nice and bright. Keep up the fab work Fern, you’re fab and by far my favourite KZfaqr 🪴🤩

Wauw, that brazil grew so fast!! Also a little tip: if the plant doesn't want to come out of its pot you could poke a chopstick around the side of the pot, that'll help loosen it up a bit 😊

Crawlers are great for offering surface space where you can plant small matting plants like peperomia which need the same watering and light conditions. Great for the jungle effect in a small area. Cheers from Tassie!

I don´t have any crawling plants so I don`t know what I´m talking about but wouldn´t it be possible to grow a crawler in a circle? That wouldn´t use up as much space and your bowl would be perfect...? As I said I have no idea how these plants grow in reality... this was just a thought (and sorry for my english I´m from Germany)

My gloriosum is due for an upsize and it took me a while to find a good rectangular planter with drainage that I could fit in my tent. I definitely agree with you on the space issue with crawlers, even though they're awesome! For your McDowell - being terra cotta is helpful, but I might still worry about the outer soil staying wet longer than the central roots can handle? Like in one direction the pot fits but the other direction poses the same risks as repotting into something too big. Not speaking from experience, just thinking out loud. Your plants look great! 🌱💚

You inspired me to put my Brazil on a pole. I combined the smaller one I already had with a full basket I picked up at big box store, put them in a large terracotta pot with moss pole & what a beauty. IMHO these philodendrons do not want to be a trailing basket plant. Pathos seem totally happy hanging out but philodendrons want to go up. They climb up the macrame hangers. Much happier on a pole or trellis situation

Hi Fern - I also have that blue plastic pot - which I really like (made of ocean plastics I think), but beware the bottom attachment does not really drain, so take it off, or puncture more holes if you use it outside. It was great at retaining moisture in the summer outside, but over the winter, I forgot about it, and after it rained my pot was flooded. Dramatic!
