The best combo channel. Been using since MKX. Reptile my main so far. Baraka felt good to play as during story mode so might try him next. I usually stick with just a few characters. If I try to learn too many I get overwhelmed

Since you've been using this channel for a while , how do you choose which combos to do ? I mean there are so many , how do you choose the best ones ? is it best on dmg?

@@accter591 Good question. I go into practice mode and play around with them all and see which feel the best basically. Some are hard to pull off with a moving opponent. Just see what you like and what feels good. I never just try to go for the highest damage.

Idk if it was in the patch notes but I was watching another video and someone pointed out that his acid ball got higher damage scaling so his bnb combos have more damage now.

I found an even better midscreen combo for 23 and f23! 23/f23, f23, f3~df3, jump forward, 233~db4 Does up to 38% damage, up to 42% if you enhance the specials

As a Reptile main I can’t be any happier! 🦎💪 I’m a Sub-Zero main but in MK1 it’s Reptile and Ermac for me! Can’t wait for Er to come out already 😎. It’s pretty sad Sub-Zero got nerfed so much it’s insane….. 😞

@beefsnart5241 No he isn't. Clone is punishable on activation if you do it from a string. Full combo punishable depending in the character. His Ice Ball is super slow. He's far from the best when Raiden, Kenshi, Reiko and Johnny exist.

I was really bummed, Kabal wasn't in it and Barakas signature chop chop was different (gone)... 😕 Reptiles my new dude. And I've been cleaning up shop with this new reptile. They did a really good job with him this time around because he's never been my main, and it's looking like he will be on this one.

@@beefsnart5241 in the beta he was but not anymore. His back 2 is easily readable, punishable,easy to bait, and its unsafe, and that move is where he gets a lot if his combo starters from. His clones straight up suck, and his normals feel slow and clunky to me. Against a good smoke player your screwed because you’re not going to be able to press a button😂. Not to mention u gotta land about 20 hits just to scrape 300dmg with him while practically every other character in the game is doing more than that in like 10 hits. I love sub and i tried making the best out of him but i came to the conclusion that he just isn’t good lol. And I’m not the only one saying that. reptile here i come😂

I only wish he had more overhead options. As usual, people love to just sit and block in this game. Grabbing and b2 do alright but a bit more options would be nice. Still a wonderfully fun character either way.

Reptile is fantastic, it took me a while to search and find my main in MK1 but reptile is definitely it. A small note, this is something i noticed in a few reptile videos, i am assuming this is console footage ? I think the PS5 and Xbox One Series versions are still a patch behind the PC version, on PC a lot of these combos you'll see here do somewhat less damage, something that is maybe a 30 to 35% will be like 27 or 28% on PC due to us getting patches in faster for balance changes. It was a similar issue in MK11 between some of the different ports, balance patches would be early/late on some versions.

For some reason when I try to do either 11 DF3 or the combo at 6:00 the acid spit comes out instead of the ball, any tips on that? Checked my inputs but I am clearly pushing the right one for the move, tried it fast and slow but most of the times I get the wrong move

Sometimes when using DF3 (Force Ball) after a string like 11 it does acid spit rather than Force Ball. Any idea why this happens? I have to meter it to ensure FB goes out rather than acid spit.

@@Landonio any string into df3, f23, dash f2 df3 hold f, j233 db4. this done from 322 to 350 dmg. if opponent does any shit lower then -14 on block, you can do f23, f23, dash f2 df3 hold f, j233 db4. This is 380
