Reptile Gardens Full Tour - Rapid City, South Dakota - Part One

4 ай бұрынReptile Gardens is an animal park located in south of Rapid City, South Dakota, on the road to Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The park is open from the first Saturday of March through November 30 each year. Reptile Gardens was cited in the 2014 Guinness Book of World Records for being the world's largest reptile zoo. It was re-certified in the 2018 edition.
Sky Dome
The Sky Dome is an indoor jungle that opened in 1965 as a new addition to Reptile Gardens. In 1976 the Sky Dome was rebuilt after a fire that destroyed everything except the Ponderosa Pine skeleton, which stands as the centerpiece of the Safari Room on the main level. The new Sky Dome was opened in 1977.

Yes that was one of the largest saltwater crocodile I've ever seen. It must have an equally huge appetite.

u should visit austraila it has alot of zoos and aquariums and wildlife parks they're beautiful i would recommend melbourne and gold coast i have been there last year so lovely

I would absolutely love to visit Australia one day. That would be the ultimate destination for me. One day I'll make it Down under.

@@TomsRoadTrippin if you ever want zoo recommendations when you go internationally I don't recommend you got to many in Asia because most of the zoos they have there are unethical for example they had a Tibetan Mastiff pass a Lion painted a Donkey to make it look like a Zebra and had a human dress up as a Bear absolutely disgusting

you know they were gonna use a black widow spider to bit tobey maguire in spider-man movie but it was too deadly so they used an actual normal spider they trained it to bit him in the movie spider-man (2002)

Safety is always more important than authenticity. Of course now they would have used CGI for those scenes.

A Zoo I recommend you visit in Arizona is the Reid Park Zoo

I mention that you need to pause the tour so you can read the things you're interested in. I got complaints when I used to read aloud everything.
