Жыл бұрынOn a mission to prove to the world just how critical industrial recycling is to our everyday lives, John Sacco visits Alter Trading Co. in Davenport, IA, to get a glimpse of how metals are processed before being sent off to a steel mill. Leading industry experts from across the country join John in his effort to bring a new light to recycling that goes beyond the recycling bin.
The Repurposed Series is a multi-episode video series that highlights various American metal processors and recyclers to show how recycled materials from ferrous and non-ferrous metals to paper are processed and transformed into new steel, aluminum ingot, copper anodes, and paper products. To the individuals within the recycled materials industry, it is no secret that the items produced from recycled material are vital to manufacturing and the production of everyday goods. But unfortunately, average citizens have become increasingly uninformed of the chain of supplies. Repurposed will take viewers behind the scenes to witness how the items utilized on a day-to-day basis rely on recycled material facilities, steel mills, foundries, and paper mills.
