EastEnders was only worth watching when nick cotton was in it, imo the best bad boy in soap history.

Carl Rees defo mate! Wish I was born in the early 80s! And watched the whole of the 90s eps!

EE Scenes 85 The remember a storyline well which stretched through most of 1990 into early 1991 involving a character named Disa who was sexually abused by her stepfather & had a baby. She befriended Dot in her time on the square but was initially introduced as a friend of Diane Butcher's. It was a big storyline which took up a lot of significance during a period of about 9 months & yet unless you'd remember it or have seen the episodes again since then you probably wouldn't realise there was ever such a storylines because it's never highlighted or referenced anywhere when people talk of big storylines from that time.

Carl Rees very good storylines back then buddy! 😁 just a shame EE is not like it was before! :/ btw mate I've asked around a few times, and wondered if you know the date of Phil & Ian's very first fight? :)
@NoirFan846 жыл бұрын
EE Scenes 85 They had a verbal spat in the Vic that was their first fall out wasn't it? I faintly recall when Ian had that office with Hattie as his assistant Phil had some dispute with him too in the early days over something. The first time Phil got physical with him was flushing his head down the toilet in 95 though I think.

Carl Rees ahh nice one! 😁😁 yeah I only have 2 scenes from that mate the the first one you mentioned in the Vic do you know the exact date for that? :)

Carl Rees aha! I take that back mate! 😂 you're right! If Phil can throw him around like a rag doll, Grant would demolish him! 😂

EE Scenes 85 Haha. Even Pete Beale threw him around.like a rag doll. Nick was never hard just a scumbag with.not one redeeming quality.

Who would have thought that there was a time like this when EastEnders was a genuinely well written, well acted and generally good piece of television. When you see it now the very idea of that is absurd beyond belief.
@Tad19452 жыл бұрын
The writing and acting was more realistic back then.

Then nick claiming hes got the law on his side. 🙈🙈 the good old days of eastenders or rather dark days of institutional racism within the met.
@patrickkennedy66876 жыл бұрын
Do you think if they had a confrontation, nick would be scared of Grant?
@DavieCooper-zz4kh6 жыл бұрын
Patrick Kennedy To be honest Nick wasn't scared of anyone, pretty weak as an individual but he knew he could get them back some way or another. I reckon that if Grant and Nick had a fight then Grant would win, but Nick would just laugh it off and start to provoke him again, just like he did with Den and Pete
@accountuser55885 жыл бұрын
BillyBoy92 Nick was a bit scared of Phil in the 90s but from the 2000s, Phil was just another one that he provoked.

Compared to Trevor Morgan ,nick was the ugly more than the bad
@adrianopasseri3262 Жыл бұрын
They were as bad as each other but initially different ways with Nick it was much more obvious Trevor had that superficial Charm Trevor was the Hannibal Lector of EastEnders where as Nick was the Joker of EastEnders
@adrianopasseri32628 ай бұрын
Yes Off all the characters to have bin on EastEnders Trevor Morgan is the worst Person then Graham Foster a close second Nick Cotton is the ruffist and most common then the Mitchell brothers Superficially Trevor Morgan and Graham Foster are by far the nicest people of all those characters
