There are thousands of fire apparatus that don't have a Q, so that's just a ludicrous statement. Responsible defensive driving is ALWAYS the answer, regardless of what kind of siren you have.

@@Fire-Rescue50 I'm very familiar with the he area. Once you are outside the metro Lancaster area you're outside the 5 mile from a firehouse that insurance cos. want and base their fees on. Like the rest of PA it's predominantly volunteer and doubtful you would hit their standards of 12 and 9. I apologize if you thought it was a put down... definitely not. Just a statement as to the issues the fire service faces today... stay safe.
