In each of my videos, There are many people ask about the cats have short tails. Here I want to explain a little about cats that have short tails(bobtails). In my country Indonesia, short-tailed cat it's common.We will see many short-tailed cats here, which may be due to genetic factors. So it's not because it's broken or someone abusing it.
They have short tails since they birth.

He is getting better from vid #1. His verbal complaint is balanced by sitting still and allowing the treatment. He seems to understand you are helping but he doesn't have to like it.

It's just amazing how a feral cat, in so much pain, allows you to help him, he knows that you love him, and want to help, Lily watching the end of the video, with Joshua eating by himself, just brought tears to my eyes, what a transformation!!! Absolutely amazing

As Iram says -- that cat was likely not feral. Nevertheless, he is amazing not to bite or claw when under the stress of having his wounds treated. She's doing a fabulous job!

I've already noticed that all of Lily's rescues are unusually patient, when treated and cleaned. The animals sense the presence of an angel.

Joshua is such a patient kitty! My cats can hear him on my IPad and wonder what is happening to that poor cat. Cats don’t believe in things like humans doing something that is good for you!

@@debradowling800 Yes, low functioning kidneys certainly can manifest as lethargy. I.V. fluids would definitely help to stimulate them.

It's wonderful to see him eat by himself, and tough he grumbles about being cared for he still lets you do it- better than our cat! But i stll feel concerned about the tongue, it was so black, I wouldn't want it to somehow poison him, can it's condition be checked?

He is so much better. You are so patient with him. I know it is uncomfortable what you have to do but he doesn’t run away. Maybe he knows you’re helping him. And he’s eating. Poor kitty has been through so much. ❤️

You are amazing with taking care of the wounds on Josuah. It's like he is so tired of being messed with but he has to have the medicine on his sores. He will love you all that much more when he is all healed. Sending him hugs and prayers. I'm so happy to see him eating real food now that is wonderful.

Yeah, cats spend about 90 minutes a day just grooming, and that is a lot of tongue work. If most of his tongue is gone then THAT will be a big problem. Maybe other cats will realize he needs some help there. I noticed with my Old Foxxy Buddy, my half Siamese, that now that he is getting old and stiff, the younger cats will do a lot of his grooming for him, Thank God.... Foxxy was so nice to them when they were little that now they are returning the favors.

As gentle and careful when you clean Joshua, he can still feel the pain within each movement. I do want to say Thank You for taking the time to restore his health! He love sunbathing. I see he is being protective of himself because of his pain and not wanting to let the sweet cat get close to him. Hopefully in time he will start to play with the others.! We will keep you in prayers for continue fast healing! ❤ U Joshua, good boy! 😻

Dabbing rather than rubbing the wounds might hurt him less. He's extremely tolerant, poor boy. Wonderful that you're helping him, he doesn't deserve to die slowly by himself out on the street. Now to see if he can drink with his damaged tongue.
