This may not be the best version of R-Ace, but it damn near is the most fun. I’ve tried this myself for a little bit. The ceiling of the deck is certainly much lower than other versions though.

Would you consider going to full 60 cards? Or is the smaller the better?

With both Mathmech and R-Ace, the smaller the better

Most decks are better at 40. Just more consistent when you pull 5 cards out of 40 than out of 60. Most duels are won or lost depending on your opening hand.
