Auckland Rescue Helicopter responds from their base at Mechanics Bay. I was holding the cam with both hands trying to keep it still, and my hat got blown off, nearly over the fence into the port.

The Auckland Rescue Helicopter is very cool! I saw that Helicopter possibly arriving at Auckland Starship Hospital.

Okay... I think this might be one of my favorite videos on youtube. It's certainly not "the best" video (no offense lol) but it had me intrigued from the very start and i actually laughed out loud when you panned to the flying hat - camera violently shaking - then you realize you're not recording the helicopter and immediately pan back to a now stable shot of the chopper. Nice vid :)

Did a job with these guys on Saturday! A Girl had injured herself horse riding at Muriwai and the ambo sent Westpac out as she was ages up the coast! I really enjoy working with the Westpac team... Shame I didn't have my camera though... would have been great footage! Luckily both the Rescue One and Danger Beach: Muriwai film crews were there to capture the action!

@thekiwicanuck The second season of Danger beach: Muriwai will hopefully air in may sometime. It will be on prime, the repeat of the first season is playing now. I will let you know when its on, You will see me I seem to have become a star lately!

I would not start the engine until everyone's strapped in their seats why because 1 it could take off without someone and 2 they Might get killed by the choppers roters slicing their heads off but if it was an emergency they would not have enough time so they will have to start the engine while everyone is getting ready to climb aboard.
