Sorry, but those neighbors should be JAILED for killing her babies! I couldn't even believe what I saw when I read that just now. I would have loved to have had all her beautiful babies running around and me caring for them. My day is heavily affected by this! Anyway, hugs and smooches to momma Husky, and RIP to her infant pups!

Totally agree 💯 % , should be crime , enforced by laws and jail time for people who kill animals. At least phone a rescue team to pick them up if they don't want to see them in their village. Drowning those puppies does nothing for that problem.

Agree, it's soo cruel and sad, but... it's common in the countryside in most parts of the world, it's the sad reality for dogs and even more for cats. I heard from people in a village in Switzerland that their neighbours are still doing it and it's difficult to stop them. 😠😥

Can't imagine the sight, the pain those 9 infant felt when they were drowned, when water filled those tiny lungs. Just brought to life only to die. Horrible. You don't understand the value of life if you feel sorry for dogs in the war zone! Like you said, PEOPLE have hellish fear that they or their children, spouses, parents, grandparents, friends could die anytime. Imagine the fear the children felt when they were kidnapped to Russia. Imagine the desperation what people felt when they didn't have electricity. They had to cook in the yard in winter time.

If you read my comment carefully you'll see that all I meant was all Lives are equal even if its of an animal. And who can understand about death and pain better than the ppl of a war zone. They'll understand it better than anyone. So to take a fellow animals life who just had given birth , who doesn't understand what human politics is, who doesn't even understand what Russia and war is, is the most inhumane thing to do. I really didn't get what you meant. You made it sound like I don't understand the pain people in a war torn country go through.. but in reality I was talking about how they know the best and how come they do this to an animal. I can't imagine her pain and her grief after giving birth to nine puppies, they were all taken away from her while she was still lactating. It's unfathomable. Some people are so callous and devoid of empathy toward innocent animals. Thank you, Olena, for coming to her rescue. This poor girl needs love and a safe, new life with good, kind people. I hope you will help her find all of it.

So sorry but not even a war justifies killing animals. They could have contacted a vet clinic to see if something could be done for them. Besides that's the cruelest and traumatising thing to do to the mother.

@@surfinia2 The war does justify killing animals. They are just animals. A war is the most awful thing there is. There are people, even children, dying in Ukraine and children has been kidnapped to Russia! Some human mothers were left without their children! There has been 19000 children kidnapped to Russia and only 364 of them have been returned to their parents. There would have been more dogs in street if the puppies were saved. Do you really think that there are vet clinics open in the country that is in the middle of the war? People themselves still lack of for example water in some parts of Ukraine. People don't have strength or money or recourses to take care of dogs. They are afraid of every second that they can be killed any moment. They are extremely happy if they are alive the next morning.

@Vaahteranlehti. He chose to kill instead of leaving them a chance to survive on their own fates. There are some international rescue organizations who help to evacuate pets to safer zones. There are compassionate Ukrainians like Olena who help these animals. An act of cruelty is an act of cruelty regardless of the time. No excuse.

They were probably elderly. I was brought up in a post-communist country where it was quite a common practice to get rid of unwanted puppies in the countryside.Horrid , I know, but it was normal for locals.

Layla is so beautiful and she seems so well behaved. She does not behave like she used to be stray. I cried when I heard you say that her puppies were all drowned by the people in the neighborhood. How mean and cruel those people are. But, thank God, you took Leyla out of the street and you are trying to change her life for the better. I pray that Leyla will be able to go to a very nice family pretty soon who will take care of her and love her forever.

What a stunning Husky Layla is. Young and very healthy but do sad about her 9 babies. What is even more heartless, is that the didn't even have the Heart to leave her 2 puppies. Anyway, Layla had clearly moved on with all the love and pampering she is getting and looks so happy and content. They say for a husky there are two shedding seasons… January thru June and July thru December! She had a lot of floof to get rid of! The combing she really enjoyed. Spa day to the max! She is a beautiful dog, young and I hope they got her spade so there wouldn’t be any more pups. She will be a fantastic addition to someone’s family❤❤❤😍💐 ,

Olena I can’t express how sad this made me when I saw this video Huskies are very emotional creatures can’t even imagine how much pain she went through losing her puppies. layla is so adorable. i can't imagine the trauma she went thru losing all her 9 kids. must have been so devastating. i am glad she is being rescued now. all her pain and sufferings stop as she move on to her best chapter in her life in a good family home. thank you dear Olena and team.

Maybe it's my: I'm here in America not knowing or understanding how horrific & terrifying everyone must be, but this crushes my heart to see. Adopted a female Siberian Husky, Winter, out of an LA shelter just six months ago. Not so much her "getting used' to me but me getting used to her! A whole different world! Sheds like crazy and I have 'armed' myself with a special wire brush to brush her coat every two weeks! Hope your stray girl finds a forever home ASAP.

With our large dogs and wolf mix we used a bent wire brush originally used for helping with carding wool for spinning. Like the smaller grooming brushes, but 8” square. They loved it.

Yes, Huskies are "outdoor dogs", they love to live close to their family but want to be outside a lot! Not a dog for every body 😉 but a great friend forever. A friend of mine who live in the countryside has a husky, such a funny guy and so cute, the whole village love him! And the friend became very sporty and fit! 😉 In the beginning the dog was inside the house, but they build an area for him, so he can live outside, and he is so happy now!!

@@calimero600 Saw a clip where a Karen was whining about an owner leaving his husky ‘out in the cold’. Next bit was the dog happily laying in a remaining snowdrift in the shade. Our Bernese is the same way. The double coats are warm.

What a beautiful dog. Clear to see she was once someone's well-trained beloved pet. So sad this horrible unjustified war is making pets and people suffer. Sad about the puppies. Hell is real and those who do such things to innocent animals will find themselves there someday. The lack of compassion in this world by some makes me weep for humanity. I'm thankful for those who do not shut doors in the faces of animals looking for help, those who open up their heart and give their time to help those who so clearly need help. I work to help the strays in my area, and I'm feel a kinship with others who do it also, especially in worn torn countries where the day-to-day living stress is so high. Humans put these animals in this position, it's our duty to help them out when they need it.

Very well behaved dog for a stray. Husky's are usually very vocal and that dog is quiet and only howled once on camera. I think you will probably be able to find her a forever home.
