Oh my goodness..😢 he was in such bad shape..l saw that indentation on his face..oh and his hip bones..ribs and spine so clearly seen..shouldn't be able to see any of those..yes you're feeding him good groceries but he also knows he is loved which gives him the ❤ to fight too.. at 26 he could have given up but your whole families love and care has shown him he is safe..and 😍 loved.. as for your 7 year old son going out at night with a headlamp on to feed horses..WOW... what an amazing young man he is..he knew Timbrook needed feeding and you both were poorly so he took on that ròle.. that's because of both yourself and Todd are such good ròle models yourselves ..with great parenting..being raised with the grace of our Lord and a good work ethic f4om your whole family..I could hear the pride in your voice..I'm sure Timbrook will continue to improve under your stewardship..can't wait to see that..for a 26 yr old he looks mighty fine.. What a transformation from October to present! Timbrook is looking great, and he sure wants to get out of his fenced area 😂😂. Look out girls...lol. Your son, oh my goodness, you have an awesome little guy there. And I'll be praying for Todd to get well.

What a beautiful horse! What a good job your doing for him. God is good! Is there any way you could put a gelding in with him for company?

Thank you! He has 3 to nose and buddy up with. He’s never alone! Between us feeding him 4 times daily, kids playing with him, cows visiting his fence, and the 3 other geldings are normally with him so he always has someone around! ❤️😊

living the life of a stallion is so lonely. are you sure you will not reconsider gelding him?

No I really don’t think so, with as much as he’s been through I just can’t do that to him at this age. He does generally get lots of company honestly. He gets along great with 2 of our geldings but they were out with the girls today. We will just have to play that decision by ear! 🫶🏼

@@8ERescueRanch right on. thanks for the response. i did not realize he would have playmates with the geldings. knowing that, i'd say keeping him a stallion, at 26, is the best option. btw, i have a 17 year old icelandic mare, up here on canada's west coast. peace.
