Meet Angel and Beauty! These two ladies have been rehomed with us and will be available for adoption after proper training!
We want them to have the best chance at life and not get caught up in the slaughter pipeline, horse trading, or auction horse life!

Poor white mare looks like shes having trouble with her left hind leg. She holds it out and looks like she rests on it funny... and was having some trouble lifting it when she walked off the trailer. Hope shes ok. Excellent camera work at her bath time.

She is doing well. I saw that as well but after some time to rest, relax, and settle she didn’t show those signs while moving around in our large yard. We let her graze in the yard for 3 days and she moved out much better! 🫶🏼😊

Just seems the white horse is wobbly on her gate and her left back foot has a stutter..she is in good hands.

Id have the horses tested for EPM. They both look to be moving with deficits especially the Creamello, with the hind end unbalanced. The bays lower lip looks a little slack as well. Just a little observation. Well done on the grabbing before auction ♥️👍🏼

They could easily have been purchased to go to the slaughter pipeline because they do have good weight on them, which is just what they want..so although you didn't get two horses who were in bad physical shape..you stopped these two gorgeous mares from getting into that dangerous situation and has already found one a home which is the aim for all of your rescues.. Angel was very calm with the water hosebon her back, so l don't think she'd be difficult to train..definitely a relaxed temprement..l was going to suggest Quora (pronounced Cora) for Beauty when you said you didn't like Butterfly because it means when a chrysalis metamorphosis into a Butterfly which is what you are doing..transforming her from a non riding horse 🐎 to one who can be part of a new loving family etc..but you've chosen Beauty as her bew name..and she IS a beautiful girl..so it fits her well..Sending love and blessings from across the pond..🇬🇧💕🙏✝️🐎🐎👍👏🇺🇸

It is wonderful they have access to shade. Especially for the white horse. I'm always concerned about melanoma. I'm fair-haired and burn easily, so I'm always thinking about UV avoidance. Nice horses! Grateful, to you, they did not end up at an auction.

Yes! We protect all pink and white horses with full fly masks, diaper cream for sunscreen works best, and shade!

Were these girls on that trailer for a while? They both seemed a bit wobbly in the back end...is that just stress you think? They seem like nice mares.

Yes, they were on trailers for over 6 hours. The next day, after some time to rest and relax she moves well. 🫶🏼😊

Yes, I was concerned about Angel's left rear leg not swinging as well as it should, especially per the hip area.
