Rescue Watercraft's (RWC) were introduced to the Lifeguard Division in 1995. In total there are 10 crafts strategically placed throughout the County with 40 highly trained operators able to deploy at a moments notice. They are one of the most versatile, allowing for strategic navigation in and out of the surf line particularly during high surf advisories and large rip currents.
