RESCUED 1969 Camaro! Pressure wash, Comet wash, YOU name it!

In this episode we attempt to clean our 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, now officially named "Ratmaro", inside and out for the first time in years! After we rescued this abandoned Camaro, we knew immediately that it needed a detailed cleaning! Using the comet wash approach, the moss, grime, insects, and just general filth are all addressed as we attack this filthy classic first gen muscle car!

I bought a 68 a few years back sight unseen. Wife found it on a trip to pick up grandaughter. She took some pics and it seemed ok but I sure wish I had gone to the effort to go see it 200 miles away. I do feel a bit better about mine but I did asssume the 396 and trans were ok but for a rebuild. Wrong. I needed a project and always hated selling my 67. This one will do and after all new panels I will be an expert and have a nice car. Good luck.

I'm working on a 1978 Corvette rebuild now but as soon as I get it done I'm going to start my 1967 Camaro. I'm planning on a full restomod with an LT4 or LT5 so I'm going to watch all of your videos for pointers. Looking forward to it.

That chunk of bondo that fell off the rear quarter.. If it came off a Pinto, you would have to pay someone to get rid of it, but it came off a 69 Camaro so its worth about $2000.00. 69 is my favorate year..

I just got a Lemans/ Gto. Mines in the same condition. ‘72 lemans sport coupe. Seems as we’re in the same boat. Idk how to be “friends” on here but did freiburgers comet wash actually help? It’s gonna be frozen for the next 8 months in a few days… just want to know what you would do if you were me? 40 hours or more to get it running, driving , and stopping (has no right window. Back order 14 months months; unless I find a window in a yard around where I live. Call me a douche or fuckhead… but I’m at where you’re at-(paint)! F’n annoying
