You might try mirrors to reflect and get your horse riders attention, and then have them follow the reflection and spot the cows. Like the good old days.

Great video. The views from the top of that mountain are terrific. Does terrain like that, along with the low trees, ever make you think about trying out a few mules or donkeys for when you work in the mountains?
