You are a very good person. I've been to Mexico a few times and I have seen a lot of homeless dogs wandering around. It's sad and a lot of them are not socialized. Starting a rescue is extremely tough, but it is definitely possible. Start off by volunteering and go to college/university. Learning the ropes of owning a rescue and also knowing the dog anatomy is very helpful. I wish you the very best.

TheHorreK2 The eyes look like a Golden retriever and the fur texture looks like German Shepard. The ears are half flop half erect so it makes me believe it's part golden part shepard.

Just by looking at him. His face is a golden retriever while the body and Fur coat is German Shepherd. Both really good trainable family dogs.

DiamondsFaith I agree he definitely has the eyes of a golden and the build of a german shepherd but his face is a little wider like a chow chow and his coat is also like a chow chow/golden mix with the coloring of a german, so I'd say you're spot on with that :) Either way he's absolutely beautiful!

I don't understand the snobbery when it comes to dog breeds. Dog breeds are just a dumb human invention, a mixed breed dog is just as good as a pure breed, plus mixed dogs are usually a lot healthier since they have more varied genes.

( this story is long and sad so you don't have to read it if you don't want to but it is all 100% true ) When I was little (littler) I had a dog, he was my first ever dog, and when I came home a little over a week after my birth Mickey ( my dogs name) loved me right from the start... When I was crying, he would run and jump around or just sit next to me to cheer me up... Me day he even saved my life... But one day right before I turned ten, he was needed to be put down and I don't really want to go into details but I was so sad that day and every day after it... I love you Mickey, I wish you were still here with me...
