Knowing the challenges of our territory is the first step towards improvements in Vale do Rio Doce. And Univale researchers are committed to this mission. The research projects developed at the university are aimed at understanding the phenomena, social relations and environmental problems that involve the river. The April Research Universe embarked on a tour of the Rio Doce and shows the importance of the riverbed for supply, energy generation, fishing, agriculture, livestock and sports practices in our region.
